I am an International award winning artist, who enjoys playing with the vibrant rich colours of oil, acrylic and watercolour.
My vivid abstract images invite the viewer to become involved in the emotion, movement and energy of each unique painting.
When in the process of creating a painting I allow the paint to flow and direct me towards the creation of each individual painting not knowing in advance what the outcome will be but taking my cue from what transpires on the canvas and along with my technical experience to create an energetic abstract work.
Each creation is different from the subject matter to the colour scheme created by using palette knives, sponges, and brushes along with my vivid imagination.
I am a founding member of the Ottawa West Arts Association - www.owaa.ca - and was the OWAA Chair since it's inception in May 2008 for five years. I am a Director on the OWAA Board and the OWAA Arts Community Liaison. I am also a member of the Ottawa Art Association and the Arts Network Ottawa.
My work has been displayed in the Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, the Frederic Remington Museum New York, in a New York gallery, an International Exhibit in Montreal, in many Ottawa-area galleries and in numerous juried exhibitions.
I would like to thank all the artists who have taught, inspired me and for their friendship in the past, present and future along my creative path to creating joyful energetic paintings.
Thank you to my family and friends who are my daily inspiration for a lifetime of love and creativity.
